Welcome to Russenberger Ranch!

We are nestled in Hazel Valley in the Ozark Mountains, in beautiful Northwest Arkansas.  We are located along the Middle Fork/White River, about a mile north of the Ozark National Forest.  The river has the most stunning aqua color water. This region is also known as Reed Township, it is a very rural area with many ranches and cabins and the friendliest people you could ever meet.  Our ranch sits on 28 acres with about 20 acres of it hardwood forest (oak, walnut, hickory, etc.) with a speckling of cedar trees and mountains. There is also a few natural springs, a waterfall and two ponds.

This area experiences all four seasons; Many shades of green and an abundance of flowers and wild berries that last spring through summer, Vibrant color changing leaves of autumn and a small amount of snow and ice in the winter which I like to call postcard snow.

Local wildlife includes; White tail deer, black bears, foxes, raccoons, bats, coyotes, mountain lions and many more. There are many birds also; woodpeckers, blue herons, green herons, osprey, hawks, owls, cardinals, jays, wrens, king fisher and in the winter, the majestic bald eagle.  Of course we have other, not so cuddly creatures like snakes, frogs, lizards, newts, salamanders and turtles.

Many of the local ranches raise cattle, chickens, goats, pigs, llamas and even bison.  Some of the ranchers grow crops and the friendly neighbors are always willing to drop off the labors of their hard work, they are also very willing to lend a hand with whatever you need.
